The ancient forum, as a place of meeting, trade, worship and center of society, was the theme of the project. A fluid space with various functions. The necesity was to combine the reality of a real estate agency with a space open to the public where you can work, meet friends and clients, thus changing the way of working and converging various realities in a single space.
The goal was to translate the Forum Romanum into the form of contemporary living through space and materiality. Clay, wood and iron are the three materials selected to compose the entire space. Clay was the starting point during the research process on the dichotomy between ancient and contemporary. The experience it gives us with touch and sight, taking us into a timeless space. The presence of the archetype in the space in various compositional elements such as the kitchen are characterizing symbols of the concept, referring to the experience in the place and the reality of the real estate agency. The original brand of the client, however, which gives life to this new concept, can be found inside the walls, symbols embedded in clay as a bone structure that gives foundations to the space.
